We now have a 6 month old! As I say every single month, the time is flying by... and it is wonderful. Our pediatric visit went really well. GrandNan was with us for the check-up and shots. Doctor told us everything seems great - Patrick is now 20 lbs. and 29 inches long. If he keeps the growth trend he has followed thus far, we are looking at a potential 6'-4" son!! Dr. said that with his growth ratio, he is not overweight, since his length is greater than his weight... while this is good news, it certainly doesn't help my back when I carry that little "chunkster" around! *wink*
We are feeding him two meals a day now... and he is enjoying that, as long as you keep feeding him quickly. He fusses if you don't have the spoon ready again as soon as you have pulled it out of his mouth - too funny!
No major new milestones to report. Patrick is doing a good bit of moving around & can definitely "travel" from one end of his crib to the other, but no crawling or pushing up yet. He is starting to enjoy the stroller more and more, and will outgrow his car seat & bouncer very soon. Remus enjoys going for walks with little brother, and stays right next to the stroller with very little pulling.
It is a great time of the year... enjoying the pretty blooms of Spring (but hating the pollen). We are getting ready to mark our 1st year anniversary in the low country... hard to believe it has been this long. We will also celebrate Remus' 3rd birthday next month - I guess I'll have to make him a special doggie treat for being such a good "big brother" to Patrick!
