Met with my new doctor last week and was really happy after meeting him. It was nerve-racking to change doctors mid-stream like we did, but God answered that prayer and we have a great doctor. He made us feel very comfortable, and was thorough in our consultation. We were able to set up a sonogram for the same week so that Mom could join us! She enjoyed seeing her grandbaby as much as we enjoyed her being a part of it.
LBC is growing, despite the fact that I haven't gained much weight. My doctor advised that I try to gain a pound per week 'til the end. Half-way through the pregnancy now, and at 20 weeks I am finally starting to show! LBC is moving around now, and Luke has even been able to feel some of the movements! We're very blessed and enjoying the pregnancy... thank you for continued prayers and support.
For those of you who have already asked, we will be registering at Target and Babies R Us. Luke and I are planning to pick out the crib this weekend and then start setting up the nursery!! Green and white will be the colors we use, since the baby's gender will be a surprise. We are staying away from "themes" so that we can personalize items after LBC arrives in September!
The photos above: (1)LBC's head with hand to his/her head as if they have a headache! :-) (2) Foot - LBC was kicking and moving a lot during the sonogram which made photos difficult, there's no way to capture how exciting it was. Big feet too... must be going to take after his/her Daddy!
